If you intend to become a talented Piano Recital player one day that performs at shows and recitals then having the abilities to overcome anxiousness is what you need. Anyone who performs on stage, whether it is an actor, musician or athlete can get what is known as “stage fright”, but there are ways to help overcome this condition so that you can focus on playing at the highest possible level.
There are many ways in which piano Recital players suffer from anxiety.
These symptoms include lack of sleep, shaking hands, fast heartbeats, dry mouth, and much more. It can even be nerve-wracking to some trying to play a full length piece to an instructor as an adult during piano lessons. Here are 6 ways to help overcome anxiety before a public piano session.
Know the Piece(s) You’re Playing
Because many people are worried that the player may screw up, one of the best ways to deal with the anxiety that causes it is to understand how to play the piece inside and out.
The purpose of taking adult piano recital lessons is to know each piece by heart and to play music by as if by instinct while still thinking about and focusing on the process. Practice the piece as much as you can and try to perfect it until you eliminate all technical difficulties. You can feel more confident and play any song to perfection this way.
Eat Healthy
Studies have proven that eating junk food with sugar only helps to make symptoms of anxiety worse, not better. Before a piano recital, do not choose to eat fatty and sugary foods. Instead, go for foods that are high in vitamin B, omega-3 fatty acids, and whole grain carbs. Vitamin B strengthens your mental health. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce the severity of your anxiety. Whole-grain carbs strengthens the serotonin, which allows you to feel good.
Listen to Music
Studies have shown that exposure to music can reduce blood pressure and lower hormones that cause stress.
You will tend to find certain genres of music more effective to listen to than others, and while we find that most people see classical (not just Piaano Recital ) as the best genre to listen to before a piano recital, or even an exam, that it not always the case with everybody. Exercise Well
Proper exercising has a great prositive effect on your Recital playing abilities by strenghtening the tendons and and the muscles and increasing your endurance, also it allows you to produce endorphins, which are things inside your body to help calm your nerves.
The best thing that you can do is to exercise outdoors, as it is proven to help you stay relaxed in an environment that can help lower your stress levels.

Piano Recital:- Get A Good Night’s Sleep
Sleep not only plays a part in your health, but also your stress levels. Not enough sleep can make it hard for you to feel 100 percent the next day, which will create an overall bad habit of sleeping problems. Be sure to sleep for 8 to 9 hours a day, and have a fixed schedule for when you go to sleep and when you wake up, so that your circadian rhythm is in check.
