Piano Lessons Sydney East β Rockdale β Eloise Cooper
Eloise COOPER is a Sydney based piano teacher offering piano lessons in her own studio located in Rockdale or at studentsβ homes in surrounding areas.
Eloise began playing the piano at the age of 6, completing inclusively all Grades 1 β 8 AMEB then CMus and AMus (pass with distinction) for pianoforte. She has also completed Music Craft (Grades 1, 2, 3) and Musicianship (Grade 4 & 5) AMEB.
Eloise was the piano accompanist for musical theatre and school assemblies in her last year in primary school. At high school, she undertook Music 2 as part of her 2018 HSC, earning a nomination for βEncoreβ. She has also competed in the St George Eisteddford where she placed 1st in the Miriam Hyde Section and was awarded High Distinction in the Sonata Section.
During her school vacations, Eloise worked as a casual staff member with the Intellectual Disability Foundation of St George in Kogarah.
Eloise is able to teach students of all ages from beginners to AMEB grade 7, and can also teach for leisure. She has extensive experience of teaching Beginnersβ Piano; helping students learn how to read music and to begin to play the piano. She is able to develop the technical skills of her students; improve their performance capacity as well as ensuring they develop a wholistic approach to music that involves expression of emotions.
Studying, teaching and playing piano for over 13 years has enabled Eloise to gain extensive music theory and piano performance knowledge and as a consequence, Eloise is eager to pass on her knowledge and passion to her students so they will be more able to enjoy music.
Eloise is offering piano lessons at her private studio in Rockdale (on a Steinway and Sons designed baby grand piano) as well as teaching students in their homes in the following suburbs of Sydney:
Rockdale, Banksia, Kogarah, Arncliffe, Sans Souci, Brighton-Le-Sands, Carlton, Bexley, Earlwood, Bardwell Valley, Bardwell Park, Wolli Creek, Kyeemagh, Tempe, Blakehurst, Carss Park, Allawah, Hurstville, Monterey, Ramsgate.
